Late December Haul & Review: eyes & cheeks

Hola beauty buffs!*_*! This has been a very long time coming! It's my early December haul post. Since I got so much stuff during that month, and because I was on such a buying streak, I haven't gotten anything in terms of makeup for the year as yet. When I think that I've saved up enough money, I'll treat myself to a mini-makeup shopping spree, hehe.
Cheeks
  • 1. NYX Powder Blush 02 Dusty Rose
  • 2. Sasha Blush Melrose
  • 3. Nabi Powder Bush 09 Brown

The Review
5 Star Grading System.

1. NYX Powder Blush 02 Dusty Rose
- Very pigmented, matte colour, looks like a barbie pink, wears medium-sheer to a bright pink.
- long lasting; it had durability & wear-ability to last all day
- when applied correctly, I can this working for most skin tones! It can be worn sheer, if applied lightly, or full force, if heavy handed.
- cute, simple, neat packaging.
- tons of product & inexpensive. I got it here for around $5-$6
- (H) in love with this product! 5/5*

2. Sacha Blush Melrose
- Very pigmented, looks like a bright peach, wears like a bright peach to an orange/red. Has shimmer, but they aren't overwhelming.
- long lasting, durable
- must be applied with a light hand, or anyone will look like a clown. If worn sheer, it could work great for most skin tones. But you need the right brush to apply it sheer.
- cute packaging, but is somewhat faulty
- the brush is ineffective & useless
- lots of product, however it is a bit pricey; ranging from $12-$15.
- i really love the colour, but rarely use it because it's too overwhelming and pigmented for everyday use, 4/5*

3. Nabi Powder Blush 09 Brown
 - pigmented, matte medium-toned brown colour
- can be applied sheer or heavy
- could be used on any skin tone.
- works great as a contour powder for cheeks and the nose. That's why I bought it, when I thought I had lost my loose contouring powder.
- sleek, simple, neat packaging
- lots of product & inexpensive. price range: $4-$5
- very useful, 4/5*

Eyes
  • 1. LA Splash Liquid Eye Liner black
  • 2. Neutrogena Weightless Volume Mascara brown/black
  • 3. Nabi Double Sided Eye liner & Shadow black/white
  • 4. E.L.F. Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Clear Mascara

  • 1. LA Splash Liquid Eye Liner black
  • 2. Nabi Double Sided Eye liner & Shadow black/white

The Review

1. LA Splash Liquid Eye Liner black
- matte black liquid liner
- fast drying & long lasting
- thick & wide applicator brush tip, not the best brush for beginners in my opinion. But, perhaps others may prefer a larger brush tip.
- I find it hard to get a really thin line
- huge amount of product
-   not bad, 3/5*

2. Neutrogena Weightless Volume Mascara brown/black
- fat, thick brush
- hypoallergenic, ophthalmologist tested
- I find that it does what it says in terms of delivering a natural looking ,voluminous look to eyelashes. It's not going to make a big impact, and if that's what you like, then you'll be pleased with this product.
- It's not incredibly clumping
- get's dried out pretty fast
- I enjoy using this mascara, 3/5*

3. Nabi Double Sided Eye liner & Shadow black/white
- a jumbo sized liner with a dual end, (H) it!
- the black eye liner is great and I love that it's so big.
- the white liner is growing on me. I use it to brighten the eyes, even though, it's not really meant for that. I also use it sometimes as a shadow base.
- Super creamy, yet long lasting & durable
- a lot of product, I've had it for months and barely sharpened it once.
- it's great, 4/5*

4. E.L.F. Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Clear Mascara
- far too little product, I barely used the thing twice and it looked as if it was empty.
- didn't see the point in this. I thought that it was to help groom the brows, but it really didn't work and the consistency of the gel felt awkward.
- just not that into it, 2/5*

@kdlkemp
- Hey sis, I was just being honset; the product literally makes no sense and serves virtually no useful purpose. lol But looking back at it, I do seem pretty 'matter-of-factly- and and critical; oh well! Glad that you enjoyed it!
